Solar Panel Proofing

Solar panels can make a warm and safe nesting place for birds. Pigeon droppings are acidic, which can cause erosion to wires, and even damage the surface of your solar panels. Birds can also bite through the wires and scratch the surface of your solar panels causing your system to lose its ability to generate power.

CCTV Drain Survey

Rats will find their way out of defective drainage systems which are typically adjacent to your house foundations and cavity walls. Once rats have access to your cavity wall they can move around the property easily and usually find their way up to the loft. Drainage defects such as displaced joins, broken or fractured pipework & redundant junctions allow rats to leave the system and enter your home. Defective drainage systems beneath extensions and conservatories can also allow rats entry into your property.

Pigeon Guano Removal

Pigeon droppings are particularly unpleasant, being infested with disease causing organisms such as (Salmonella spp, Escherichia coli, and Cryptococcus spp) and creating slip hazards. In addition, the droppings are unsightly and cause structural damage to buildings. Nesting materials and feathers often contain many insects, which can lead to secondary infestations of properties.

All our work is conducted in accordance with BPCA (British Pest Control Association) code of practice and complies with relevant legislation i.e., Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Working at height regs 2005, COSHH 2002, and Environmental Protection Act 1990.
